Compco Industries - Stocking Programs

Compco Industries has recently employed a stocking program for volume customers to help facilitate JIT(Just In Time) inventory programs. Tank Heads and other stampings are pre-built on a weekly or longer basis as derived from customer specified demand-forecasts. Tank Heads and stampings are manufactured and stored at both our Youngstown and East Palestine plants. A shell-sheet/cut-to-length program is run out of our Columbiana facility. Tank Heads are stored and shipped in our returnable wire baskets, while shell-sheet/cut-to-length material is palleted/wrapped per customer packaging needs. Customers return empty wire baskets by the truckload or on an as needed basis.
